Flip is a video discussion tool developed by Microsoft. It is a web-based service accessible via web browsers or the app, making it compatible with various devices such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, Chromebooks, and desktop computers. The tool is free to use and can be accessed using either a Microsoft or Google account.

With Flip, teachers can create “Topics” which are essentially videos accompanied by text. These topics are shared with students, who can then respond to them. The tool is designed to facilitate group discussions and particularly aims to empower less expressive students by providing them with a platform to express their thoughts and feelings to the class. Students also have the option to re-record their responses if needed.
In summary, Flip can be utilized without limitations to enhance educational communications for both students and teachers.
